Guardrail Parenting
Love + Boundaries = Raising Kids with Character, Confidence & Courage
Every parent lives between two fears. Hold on too tight, and kids rebel or never learn to stand on their own. Let go too soon, and they crash. We raised our four children on a different idea: give kids a real road to travel, and line it with sturdy, loving guardrails that move as they grow.
The book walks through every stage, from the Cop Years of toddlerhood to the Consultant Years with grown children and grandkids. You'll find honest family stories, practical tools you can use tonight, Scripture that grounds it all, and research from trusted Christian voices and leading studies. Along the way, you'll learn to parent from faith instead of fear.
Whether you're rocking a newborn or learning to let go of an adult child, this book will help you build the kind of guardrails your kids will one day build for their own.

Why we wrote it
Raising kids in a ministry home comes with its own pressures. Our children grew up with a church full of people watching them, and with parents who were often on call for everyone else's emergencies. We made plenty of mistakes, and we learned a lot about what helps kids grow into adults who can make wise choices on their own.
We wrote this book for any parent trying to do the same, whether or not you've ever stood behind a pulpit.
Bring it to your church
We teach from Guardrail Parenting at parenting seminars, church gatherings, and family conferences.

Anointed Algorithm
How to Be Spirit-Led in a Tech-Driven World
Anointed Algorithm is a practical guide for pastors who want to use AI without handing it the work only the Holy Spirit can do. It starts with Scripture and church history, since God's people have always had to decide how to use new tools, and then walks through a pastor's actual week: preaching, pastoral care, discipleship, administration, and the pastor's own spiritual health.
It's written especially for bivocational pastors and others carrying a heavy load. The book includes a prompt library, a guide to tools and privacy settings, a one-page quick reference, and two simple frameworks, CARE for writing prompts and READ for checking what AI gives back.
